This time, we decided to approach the idea of awards from a different perspective. There won’t be the usual winners’ podium.

Instead we assemble a mixed jury of 20+ people with different backgrounds. All are practitioners or theorists in film and media. Each jury member will select individually their favorite movie and write a few lines about it, explaining why this movie is worth noticing.

The selected movies will be featured in a printed book. Thereby, we hope to shed a subjective but interesting light on current versatile, diverse and international filmmaking.
